Boss is now Sadee's up and coming high school rodeo mount! Best of luck to his new owners! Congratulations to Sadee Hurst and the Broken Box bred, raised and trained gelding "Boss" for qualifying for the SD State 4H Finals and placing 2nd in the breakaway @ the Buffalo, SD rodeo (7/9/11). Boss was purchased from The Broken Box Ranch in 2009. We have 1 full sister and 1 half sister to Boss in our broodmare band.

We put bulls out that day - in big country (some people wouldn't take a young horse in this rough country!). He's instinctively cowy - I don't have to tell him a thing when it comes to cow work and gives his all no matter the terrain or length of time! He's good in the arena too - quiet in the box - very smart overall!! We are getting good at our barrels and poles - he's very smart and a quick learner. Hope you are blessed and well, Colleen and all
